My name is Krystal Emrick. I am originally from a small town outside of Nashville, IL. A three-sport athlete at Nashville High School, I went on to play softball at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. While at SIUC, I earned a B.S. in Speech Communication, a M.S. in Sport Management, and a M.A. in Teaching - Physical Education with an endorsement in Safety and Driver Education.
This is my seventh year at Carbondale Community High School. My first two years of teaching were spent at Anna-Jonesboro High School. While teaching, I coached girls basketball and softball. In addition to coaching, I teach aerobic dance classes, as well as other workout classes.
I am the wife of an amazing man, who is also a teacher at Cobden High School, and the mother to three sweet children!
I am very passionate about teaching students how to begin and maintain a healthy and safe lifestyle. I look forward to the upcoming year and welcome any questions, concerns, or comments that you may have! Go Terriers!!
